Postop Instructions after Crown & Bridge Treatment
- Crowns & Bridges usually take 2 or 3 appointments to complete.
- Avoid chewing on your teeth until the numbness wears off.
- Avoid eating hard, chewy and sticky foods on the temporary crown to reduce the likelihood of cracking or dislodging the temporary crown. Also, floss carefully around the temporaries and gently remove floss from the side.
- After the permanent crown/bridge is placed, you may feel slight pressure for a few days.
- Call our office if you experience pain or discomfort for more than a week after the crown/bridge is cemented, or if you have any questions.
